On behalf of the First Congregational Church of West Haven and the Apple Festival Committee, we extend our appreciation to all the volunteers, sponsors, community groups and especially our church members for their dedication and generosity. The 2013 Apple Festival was our most successful to date and allowed us to share our net proceeds of $13,000 to the following organizations: W.H.E.A.T., Project Hope, The West Haven Community House, West Haven Green Nursery School, Fisher House, Alex's Kitchen, FCCWH steeple restoration and kitchen funds. Other groups and organizations that participated and benefited are West Haven High School (WHHS), Peer Advocates, WHHS Marching Band, WHHS DECA, WHHS Dance Team, Disabled Veterans Association, The First Lutheran Church, Knights of Columbus, Seth Haley PTA, Mackrille 

PTA, West Haven Junior Women's Club, West Haven Breast Cancer Awareness, Westies Care, and many others.

A special thanks to Harry Peschell for his culinary expertise, Beth Sabo and West Haven Public Works, 

the West Haven Police Department,  West Haven Fire Department and Bill Riccio of the West Haven Voice.
